Fate and Timing

So it now comes to this. I move out to LA to begin rehearsals April 28th, (that's less than a month away) and then I leave 2 months later. (June 8th.) Originally, I was planning on doing this whole cruise thing for about 2 years, but fate has led me on a path that I never could have imagined. Meeting "someone special" has such an effect on life and the decisions we make in it. It's almost to the point now, where I cannot wait until Thanksgiving, because I now I will be back home and spending time with my love!
Now don't get me wrong, I am so excited to have this new adventure and chance to perform as often as I will be. But at the same time, I am so scared of losing someone I've grown so close to, for multiple reasons, but I don't need to get into all that now. I guess now all I have to worry about is staying focused on the excitement of rehearsals and performances. The rest will just be in the hands of fate itself. And mind you, I've never had such strong feelings towards an individual in my life! (Well besides the family, but that's a different love altogether.) Bottom line, I think I found "the one", the love of my life, and it's sometimes scary not knowing you're future.

Hopefully my intuition and gut feeling about our connection is as strong as I think it is. Because if that's the case, I know we will be together forever, regardless of me being away for a few months. :)

Awaiting an Adventure

Hi everyone. So as last night's congratulatory bottle of champagne was popped open by my parents, i just realized how exactly excited I am to really start this journey living on the sea. There will be so many cool new people I will get to meet, and so many places I'll get to see. (Not to mention the fact that I will be dancing about every day!)
So i decided to create a blog spot for all my students, families, and friends, so that when I finally begin this exciting process, I can keep everyone updated. So here it is, my first blog entry. Feel free to leave comments as I will continue to write about the exciting events that happen on the MS Zaandam!
Wish me luck!
